An ideal destination for those traveling with children, the Jardim Zoologico de Lisboa was founded in 1884 with the aim of preserving and stimulating the reproduction of endangered species.

The Zoo is located in Sete Rios and has one of the best zoological collections in the world. Very popular are the dolphin shows and sea lion shows, the Reptile House, the Rainbow Playground and the Children’s Farm where you can learn more about farm animals.

Several picnic areas are available to visitors.
